From a high-precision cut edge, sophisticated beam management, optimal material usage, to quick turnaround, Millerbernd Laser has the solution. We are constantly striving to exceed industry demands for laser cutting productivity, quality and on-time delivery, which translates directly into decreased costs and competitive pricing for our clients.

Our laser cutting services are supported by state-of-the-art Trumpf equipment and controls utilizing carbon dioxide, helium and nitrogen for beam generation. These extremely reliable lasers are fully integrated with our production planning and operating systems allowing us to maximize set-up speed and minimize down-time ensuring on-time delivery of your mission-critical components.

Our laser cutting services include:

  • Trumpf CO2 lasers with output capacity up to 6000 watt.
  • Load / unload tables reduce material handling and increase "beam" on time.
  • No cutting variations or distortions due to tool wear.
  • No scratches to brilliant or polished services.
  • CAD/CAM drawing to cutting within minutes.
  • Leading edge nesting capabilities reducing waste.
  • Competitive pricing from one piece to thousands.

Improved Weld-ability.

Millerbernd Laser has proven results related to welding laser-cut parts. Having accurately cut laser parts enables the welders to put the parts into the weld fixture faster. Also, damaged parts due to being force-fit into the fixture are eliminated.

The accuracy and repeatability of the laser-cut parts prepares them better for robotic welding. The standard for robotic welding is to have accuracy in placement of parts of the wire's width (normally about .035"). The laser cutting, along with good fixturing makes this possible to create highly accurate weldments.

Reduction of Parts.

Laser cutting, along with accurate forming, allows designers to combine parts that would normally be made separately (Design for Manufacture) and then combined by welding. This elimination of welding saves a drastic amount of time on repetitive production parts and decreases the overall cost to the OEM customer.
